The Only Begotten Son And Its Meaning

One of the more classical utterances frequently used by the religionist, the preacher, or the evangelist, is that very familiar cliché extracted from the Bible, “The Lord so loved mankind that He gave His one and only begotten Son.” Now, this may appear at the moment to be a deceptively innocuous religious expression, and it may seem to be reasonably supported from the various artifacts of the religion itself. Also it may include the very prominent subconscious suggestion which is interconnected with all religious dispensations, and which, in turn, gives the religionist his miasmic attitude toward the reality of creation and the Infinite Intelligence which is, in reality, the true God. The supposition that “The Lord gave His one and only begotten Son,” immediately suggests certain intimidations which are not wholly supportable in the entire deistic concept.

The begotten Son, in itself, suggests that God must somehow be a being which possesses sex organs and does indeed give birth to living young. How this process is concluded must be done, of course, in a bisexual way; that is he possesses both male and female parts, otherwise the creation or the birth of the begotten Son must have some sort of a magical wand-waving proposition, wherein God somehow contrived by a bit of magical hocus-pocus to immediately bring into this world the entirety of Himself in the form of His son. In any case however, the unreality of this supposition is immediately apparent when we start to analyze it, and try to evaluate it on the common derivatives of scientific expressions, or even in common sense attitudes, as they exist in our present understanding of life. Therefore, we must understand that this classical cliché of religious expression, while it is neither realistic nor intelligent., in itself, does, however, in a parabolistic form as an extracted derivative, contain a certain basic element of the regenerative expression of life.

In the lesson courses of Unarius this has been described as an abstraction of the Infinite Intelligence; or God, or the Lord, etc., as it is called by the religionist; this facsimile or abstraction of the infinite expression is immediately available throughout Infinity; this means in essence, that it matters not upon whatever planet we may be living, or in whatever spiritual world we may be living at the time, we can, at any moment, put forth our mental finger, so to speak, and immediately contact the entire Infinite. This is done as it is explained in the more scientific presentation of harmonic attunement; the Infinite is constantly regenerating in numerous dispositions the entirety of Itself through the various dimensions and the interplay of vortices as they so compose the Infinite macrocosm.

Your contact with the Infinite, at any time therefore, will be determined by concept, or how well you can personally contact the Infinite on the basic elements or derivatives of conscious expression as they reside within the concept of the psychic anatomy. Always these various concepts, as they are abstractions of the Infinite, must come through that facsimile of the Infinite which is called the Superconscious Self. The religionist has called this Infinite Intelligence “Christ,” and he has further subverted this “Christ” into the common expression of the personal being as Jesus so lived it 2000 years ago. This whole supposition, therefore, immediately disassociates the common man with Christ. It also disassociates the common man with the Infinite Intelligence of God; in fact, it makes us, in a sense, spontaneous creations or merely bastards of existence; and up until some theoretical point in the future when we are “saved,” as it is said, by “intercession,” we really have no part in the scheme of Infinite Creation, other than the fact that we were born in “sin,” as it is called by the religionist; he believes that sex is a cardinal sin and not an expressive quotient of life as it should be more properly understood by the material man.

When God, or the Infinite gave his one and only begotten Son, it merely means that as we personally contact the common abstractions of the Infinite, in various integrated relationships of daily life; these, in turn, polarize the exact facsimile of that same quotient which is pulsating or regenerating in Infinite Consciousness. When this is achieved we, in effect, make this part of the Infinite our personal property; we have compounded it within that dimension of the psychic anatomy which is called the Superconscious Self, and there it will remain forever, or at least, forever as we can understand it in a material way. It is in this way that the Infinite Father, the Infinite Intelligence, or God, does give Himself to each and every one of us, and creates from Himself His begotten Son. In the more ultimate destiny of each human being, we can assume that there are a large number of these abstractions – and as they are polarized by our own personal expression with the Infinite, we develop a personality capable of evolving into the higher state of consciousness which embodies the entire concept of Infinity. When we arrive at this point where we can envision the whole Infinity in its true basic relationship to us, then we can truly say we are a begotten Son of God; we have been created in His true image, and we have been created from the substance of the Infinite God in that never-ending regenerative process of intelligent harmonic relationship which is constantly taking place.

If these scientific principles were more thoroughly understood by the religionist, he would cease to babble these inane and nonsensical suppositions which, through the strong dominant qualities of his personality, submerge the more realistic or factual understandings of his followers. He demands that his belief, his supposition should be the paramount virtue in the present life expression of his adherents; however, when he has so understood these principles, he will then cease to be such a dominant personality. Likewise, his religions and the various constituents which supported him in this manner of expression will, quite naturally, vanish; the adherents who followed him in this blind and sheep-like attitude will also vanish. In general, through the same process of analysis, introspection, and a recombination of divers and obvious elements, depicted not only in many Biblical portrayals and descriptions, but also portrayed in different attitudes which are deistic in the life of the average earth man at this time, to the extent that they supplant the actual reality of his existence, thus man has been relieved of the use of his brain in solving these important issues for himself.

Man is inherently lazy in the respect that so long as he can find ways, manners, and means to justify a certain release in the mental processes with which he is involved, or as these mental processes recombine to form such aspects of life with which he is familiar – he becomes evasive or demands ways in which he can dodge or circumvent them. He can, in all manners and forms, be said to be an escapist; for man, as he lives today, truly is an escapist. He is trying to escape, not only the fears, the degradations of the material life, and the fear of death itself; but also he is trying to escape the mental processes which are most necessary for him to evolve from his present carnal and animal-like state of existence. How thoroughly indoctrinated he is in these aspects of life can only be envisioned on the terms of his understanding of the evolutionary pattern of life as it is lived from one life to the next.

The dominant characteristic of human expression is survival. Like all other animals and creatures of the earth, at any moment of his life, man is most vitally concerned with survival. He is so dominantly concerned with it that he will procreate in the same manner and form as do all of the animals of the earth; he procreates because in bestowing life into the birth of a child, he does, in effect, envision in this child a continuity of his own life. He hopes to escape all of the ramifications or complexities of his material world which are climaxed or culminated in the moment of death; for death is the unknown, the unreal factor in his life which he never succeeds in sublimating. He only partially succeeds in alleviating this most basic fear, the most elemental fear in his religious deifications – that he is supposed to be saved – he is supposed to be elevated or otherwise cleansed or purified to live in a way or manner which is free from his former vicissitudes and emotional turmoils; above all he will be freed from the constant and never-ending stigma of death.

Religion therefore, as it concerns every individual, remains the greatest of all hypocrisies; for it is, in itself, not only a deistic misconception, but also it forms the core or nucleus of the general escape mechanism which is practiced by all human beings in their hope to escape from the various and most certain of all earth life dispensations, the eminent fear of death. This fear of death is the destructive force and intent of the primitive world in which man finds himself; for as he has so survived from life to life, this entity of personal consciousness, as he has evolved it within himself, remains imperishable. Yet, he has not conceived the reality of this dominant characteristic of his nature, because he does not understand that evolution can and does support him from one lifetime to another.

He knows that he can live from one day to the next with the interval of sleep or nighttime in between. He does not conceive, however, that he also can live from life to life, and that the interval in between is sort of a trance or sleep-like state, the vague and unreal spiritual world. It is unreal only in the sense that he does not understand it; he has not yet evolved into that consciousness where the spiritual world is a reality, which could be lived very realistically just as he lives his present physical life, minus all of these fearful and emotional vicissitudes which have enabled him to live from one day to the next, or from one life to the next. This, as a whole, must remain a more complete abstraction in personal analysis.

In effect, we are, through these various life to life processes, not only being born of the spirit, but also the Infinite Intelligence is, in Itself, reciprocating an equal or a more dominant factor in each evolutionary concept. This is the way the Infinite Intelligence, God, the Father, or the Lord does give His only begotten Son, for, in a sense, each begotten Son is each individual who has ever lived, or who is living, or who can conceivably live in the future.

For the expressionary element of Infinite Intelligence is not necessarily confined to numbers; It is not emotionally concerned in Its creation. If it were so emotionally concerned, creation could not exist; for the conflict of various emotional values would superimpose many false images in this otherwise superintelligent being that people have called God. This would render Him as inept and as inadequate as is the earth man in solving the most obvious of all his differences. There is only one way in which the Infinite Intelligence, the Supreme Creator, the God deification can exist. He exists because He is not emotionally motivated, He is not emotionally concerned with any of the creations of Himself; they are all either a large or a small part of Him; and the whole passes all understanding or conception on the terms that we can evaluate it within the confines of a third dimensional mind. We must, for the present at least, be satisfied with the basic elements of this Infinite Creation, with the principles involved, and clear up some of the mists and illusions in which mankind formerly has been involved.

Do not be confused by the apparent numerical superiority of the atheistic expressionists as they exist today; for all people are atheists, despite the fact that they may proclaim to be religionists. They still are atheists until they understand the true Infinite God, until they understand the true procreation of mankind as a fundamental factor of regeneration which is constantly expressed from Infinite Intelligence. We cannot deify these things. We cannot remove them from the immediate apparency which is contained within the concept of our own minds. In all cases, and in whatever dimensions in which we so find ourselves, or in whatever lives with which we are so concerned, these basic elements will always remain paramount and dominant. They cannot be violated, they cannot be super imposed by any of our own personal facsimiles. We must ultimately be concerned with the complete resolution of these basic elements and principles within the ways, means, and manners of life as it is lived by us individually. As it is lived individually it becomes a pattern which is universally expressed by mankind.

It also must be remembered that, if at any time, we divert the more objective and abstract realizations of concept within our own minds into the more common and dominant physical expressions which may seemingly mandate their inclusion in our introspection, then we are lost – at least for the moment. We cannot form basic equivalents from such infractions as are commonly expressed by our fellow men, for these are merely the more primitive values extracted from the evolutionary process which sponsored them from the beginning of their more elemental and barbaric past.

Such equalities as are supposed to exist in any democratic system of government, for instance, are actually nonexistent, and the concept of equality is most obnoxious and should be avoided at all costs; for it does not exist, either in the concept of Infinity or in its expression. There are no equalities, and should we attempt to explain our own position as equal with that of any or all human beings, then we are approaching the tideland of mental vicissitudes wherein we shall be swallowed and made mentally inert.

As the Infinite is infinite in Its expression, so we, as individuals, must also become infinite in our expressions. We cannot, at any time, ever hope to express the same relationship to Infinity as does any other human being. We have not succeeded in doing this in any past experiences, and we shall never do this in the future. As individuals, we shall always remain an individual creation of the Infinite Intelligence; and we shall, as personal beings in that creation, express the same quotient of Infinity as is the basic principle of Infinite expression.

To say that we are equal to someone else who may have a different colored skin, or who may have some other political or religious belief, immediately arouses many complexities in this analysis which can never suitably be equalized, no matter how far we carry this hopeless form of personal analysis. We can say that equality exists only in the common basic elements of expressive quotients or principles of expression as they are constantly regenerating in the infinite macrocosm and microcosm. In the full abstraction of evolution, each individual must realize that his evolutionary progress will give him equality in the scheme of Infinite Creation. It does not give him equality with any or all human beings no matter how he has so contrived his political or religious systems.

As a matter of fact, the constitution of the United States definitely expresses the ideal that everyone is entitled to live the way he chooses; then on the other hand it defeats the entire content of this expression by presupposing that equality exists in the common relationships wherein man can mentally conceive himself as living all aspects of life in a similar manner to that of his neighbor. Man has not realized that these individual expressions are most valuable to him, no matter what his religious beliefs, his political affiliations, that he has a different colored skin, or any of the other different factors of relationship which so vitally concern him at this present time. For each and every one of us, everyone who has ever lived or is so living, or hopes to live in the future, is at all times, most vitally concerned with that constructive process of becoming one of the begotten Sons.

The complete entity of creation is expressed in the mental consciousness of every individual; the Infinite arrives at a new plateau of Infinity in the net extracted quotient of an Infinite number of human beings who are constantly re-expressing Infinity in the way, manner, and form in which they have learned to evolve Infinity in their own consciousness – not that they are all similar in all respects in their relationship to the Infinite, but rather that they present to the Infinite a different set of concepts – a different way in which they understand the Infinite, but always basically motivated, basically integrated, and expressed in the cardinal principle of regenerative creation.

This is the way the Infinite lives in such dimensions wherein we can envision mankind living in diverse and sundry brotherhoods or different aggregations as they should be more commonly understood. The more highly developed, the more highly evolved, the less desire there is to divide, to segregate, or to classify individuals into various groups, or to feel that the expressions of one group are necessarily superior to those of another group. Instead, there will be a gradual inclination or clemency to universally express the Infinite on the same cardinal principles of Infinite Regeneration; principles which will eventually, in more highly developed and more highly evolved states of consciousness, give to these various personalities the general consensus of universal brotherhood; a brotherhood which can be shared as an infinite proposition; a creative sublimation which carries on into the most remote phases of human expression.

Yes, man, as he exists today, is basically an animal, but he also is much more than an animal, at least in one respect; he has already begun to incorporate in his recognition of various deistic configurations, the more ultimate sublimation of consciousness. In the evolution of consciousness which will verify, enlarge, and solidify this Infinite Perspectus, he will, in a sense, be helping the Infinite Creator to create the one, the only begotten son in his own image, within the fabrication of his own psychic anatomy. In that day of realization he will not be confounded with the configurations of deistic expressions, he will be able to understand the Infinite as It exists, and he will not subvert the hard-earned and hard-fought-for mental horizon at which he has arrived, by trying to compare it with his past life experiences. He will not be confused by the proclamations of various priests or religious adventists; he will not be confused by political miasma; he will not be confused by the vague differences in political systems, or the differentiations of social structures and their so-called sciences. The economies of the world will remain as they should be, merely passive elements of expression, rightly or wrongly used by mankind; and this too, is the process of evolution into the higher worlds where man does become a begotten son.
